Introduction to the Education and Research Department

The Education and Research Department of Razavi Super-Specialty Hospital was established based on the emphases of the Supreme Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi on education and research, and the decision of the hospital’s management to promote education at all levels and make research a core part of hospital activities.

Efforts to develop applied research, expand the boundaries of knowledge, and enhance the awareness and expertise of staff have led the hospital administration to support educational programs and clinical research projects by utilizing the potential capacities of the hospital, its physicians, and both clinical and non-clinical personnel.

This unit, established since the beginning of 2013 (1392 in the Iranian calendar), undertakes various responsibilities, including organizing diverse educational and research workshops and courses, holding local and international seminars, congresses, and symposiums, conducting training needs assessments, and fostering collaboration with reputable domestic and international academic and research institutions.

The Director of Education and Research — appointed by the Managing Director of Razavi Hospital — is responsible for implementing the hospital’s strategic policies in education and research and developing effective programs to position Razavi Hospital as a scientific hub in the country.
