    Introduction to the SICU at Razavi Super Specialty Hospital



    The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Razavi Super Specialty Hospital is the largest ICU of the center, equipped with 24 advanced beds. All beds are furnished with ventilators, advanced monitoring systems, and specialized intensive‑care beds.



    The unit provides bedside services such as dialysis, ultrasound, echocardiography, and other essential procedures. It is also equipped to perform emergency interventions, including the placement of drains and necessary catheters.



    With modern equipment and comprehensive critical‑care services, Razavi Hospital’s SICU is considered one of the most advanced specialized intensive care units in the region.

    In the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), depending on specific patient conditions—such as pediatric or elderly patients—and their emotional needs, an attendant may be present upon the attending physician’s order. In all other cases, the presence of attendants will be limited.

  • Ensuring the privacy of other patients is maintained.

    In the ICU, each patient’s privacy in their unit is ensured with a curtain.

  • How to handle unintentional disclosure of information.

    In the ICU, patient information is provided only in person and only by the attending physician to first-degree relatives.
