For directly admitted patients and candidates for invasive procedures such as Angiography, Angioplasty, and ICD/CRT implantation, an initial visit is conducted by a physician. This process includes IV cannulation, laboratory testing, and admission orientation. If ordered by the physician, other paraclinical procedures like Echocardiography are performed. The patient is then transferred to the Cath Lab and returns to the ward after the procedure for necessary care. Upon a physician’s discharge order, the patient is discharged after receiving final instructions.

For medical treatment patients and those transferred from other departments, diagnostic and therapeutic care, medication therapy, paraclinical procedures, daily visits, and consultations are performed as ordered. Discharge steps are followed at the scheduled time. Within 24 to 48 hours after discharge, nursing staff conduct a follow-up to provide necessary education and recommendations if needed.
